Forthcoming Winter Festival events in Burghead.
Christmas Light switch-on
" This is the 7th year of Burghead Christmas Lights. The display has grown from the initial 6 lights to cover all the main streets plus feature displays on the Community Hall, Bowling Club and Church of Scotland.
The switch-on this year will be at 4pm on Saturday 6th December 2008. This will be a low-key affair led by the local minister with carols and possibly a performance by the school children. It is also hoped that Santa will make an appearance.
All attending will be welcome back at the Community Hall afterwards where tea and mince pies will be served and it is hoped that there will be further entertainment."
